FGI Awards Ceremony

Owner and designer, Michelle Watson, has been named as a finalist in Fashion Group International's 2012 Rising Star Awards. Mimi & Lu is nominated in the accessories category.
Michelle will be traveling to New York City to attend the awards ceremony on January 26th at Cipriani 42nd Street where the winner in each category will be announced. Voting, open to FGI members, takes place at FGI headquarters in NYC between January 6th and January 16th.
The announcement has fashion insiders taking notice. Commenting on the FGI Rising Star finalists, Stylecaster.com says "...Needless to say the competition is fierce. The accessories designers such as Mimi & Lu and Stella & Dot will surely give the others a run for their money."
The Fashion Group International, based in New York City, is a global, non-profit, professional organization with 5000 members in the fashion industry including apparel, accessories, beauty and home.
